Silithus is best for rich thorium veins but does mean some running around in tunnels it's still the fastest place to get thorium. Untrue, actually. I've checked to see. In 1 trip around Silithus, I got 1 stack of ore, with no competition. In 1 trip around Un'Goro, (which took half as long,) I got 16 ores, and that was with competition.

In my opinion the best place for thorium farming is in Winterspring. Be sure to be lvl 58+ if u go there. The richest thorium zone is south, where the lvl 59-60 elites reside. Best zone for roges and druids -> stealth. I am gathering about 50-60 Thorium Ore in one hour and a half of crossing Winterspring like this :)

Burning Steppes is another one of the high level zones that you're able to farm Rich Thorium in. One of the primary strengths of this zone is that it's so small and the enemies here are not high level. The majority of enemies that you run into throughout the zone will be in their mid to low 50s, drastically decreasing their agro radius.
